The SFPA is committed to providing current educational and developmental programs to our membership as a means of ensuring that all companies are equally prepared to take advantage of the marketing and business development programs offered. WORKSHOPS The SFPA uses workshops to facilitate the development of skills which will aid in capitalizing on SFPA projects, as well as identifying consumer needs and trends. By utilizing and working with a vast network of affiliated industry groups. The SFPA provides workshops on product packaging, quality issues, export initiatives, promotion, and product demonstration. Workshops are offered at minimal charge, and are timely so as to provide training for upcoming projects, or relate directly to current market trends. MEETINGS & SEMINARS The SFPA annual meetings provide an excellent opportunity for members to network, exchange ideas, and steer the association. The SFPA utilizes the gathering of members to provide workshops and seminars that will support upcoming projects, trends, and opportunities. The SFPA Annual General Meeting features seminars, a business meeting, and banquet, while the semi-annual meeting is a more social atmosphere, structured around a golf tournament. Both meetings provide an excellent forum for member communications, and allow the SFPA the chance to provide general information and education/skill development.
